I have assembled a small lab in my garage. It is modest. I have no specific plan at the moment, which will change likely as time goes on. I was partially motivated to create a hobby lab so that my daughter will have resources available to her that I find are largely missing in our school system. I know they were missing when I attended school. I can remedy that. Physics and chemistry are what I plan to start with, and I may add more as time goes on and as my daughters and my interests evolve.
Somewhere along the way an idea sparked with me. Why limit the lab to myself and family? I know some smart kids seriously interested in science. I can make this resource available to them too, or so I hope and believe. I can create a kind of Science Club.
This is a slow-change report on my journey. Unlike a daily journal, or blog (I do not like that term), I will edit and update these pages from time to time. Sharing my experience may encourage others to follow; something that works well with my pay-it-forward view on life.
